The Police Services Board is a civilian body that oversees the Cornwall Police Services and its authority is set out in Section 31 of the Ontario Police Services Act.
The Board assumes the role of policy direction and administration of policing in the community. Among its many specific duties, the Board determines general organizational objectives and priorities, establishes policies and oversees the ethical conduct of th organization.

Board Information
Meetings are held monthly except for the summer, budget meetings or special meetings. All meetings take place in the Council Chambers at the Cornwall Civic Complex, Salon B commencing at 9:00 a.m.
The Board is comprised of five members and in accordance with the Ontario Police Services Act, will consist of the Head of Council, a Council representative, two provincial appointees, and one community representative appointed by Council.
