The Transit Committee acts as an advisory body to Council on matters related to the municipal transit service in the City of Cornwall, aiming at promotion and providing accessible, reliable and affordable services to its residents while minimizing the cost to the taxpayer. Board Information
The Committee meets on a quarterly basis. Meetings are held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 360 Pitt Street.
The Committee consists of one representative from Council, two members appointed from the community at large and one member from the Municipal Accessibility Advisory Committee. Members shall be concurrent with the term of Council and may be reappointed for two additional terms.
