The Cornwall Public Library Board's mandate is to be actively engaged and make a significant contribution to the social and economic success of the community by providing free, convenient and equitable access to information for all residents as well as programs and services that support creativity, imagination, innovation and entrepreneurism.

Board Information
The Cornwall Public Library Board of Directors meet 10 times per year on the fourth Tuesday of the month with the exception of July and December. Meetings are held in the Library Boardroom.
The Cornwall Public Library Board of Directors is governed by a nine-member board, including one Council representative and eight members from the community. Members shall be appointed for a term of four years, and may be reappointed for two additional terms.
