- to reduce organizational, social and physical barriers that prevents seniors and people with dementia from full engaging in community activities
- to provide education about aging and dementia in order to reduce the associated stigma
- to apply an action to support seniors

Board Information
The Committee meets on a monthly basis, or at the call of the Chair. All meetings are held every two months in the Committee Room located at at City Hall, 360 Pitt Street.
The Committee consists of two Council Representatives, five community representatives and two Lay Members. Members shall be appointed for a term of four years, and may be reappointed for two additional terms.
