The Property Standard Appeals Committee is a quasi-judical body that hears appeals by property owners or their agents who have received a Property Standard Order that had been issued under the Building Code Act and/or the City's Property Standards By-law. The Committee will be responsible to:
- Confirm the Property Standards Order; or
- Modify the Property Standards Order; or
- Quash the Property Standards Order; or
- Extend the time for complying with the order provided that, in the opinion of the Committee, the general intent and purpose of the Property Standards By-law is maintained.

Board Information
The Committee meets on a "as needed" basis. All hearings take place at the Cornwall Civic Complex, 100 Water Street East.
The Committee consists of three members appointed from the community. Members shall be appointed for a term of four (4) years, and may be reappointed for two additional terms.
